Dr. McAdam is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, knee and ankle. He treats a broad range of patients, from professional and recreational athletes to people simply looking for less invasive treatments of their problems. From his work with the Seattle Seahawks and the US Rugby team, Dr. McAdam has developed an understanding of a wide range of athletic injuries. In his work with both athletes and non-athletes in his practice, he has developed an understanding of the importance of personalized care for each patient.
Dr. McAdam moved to Seattle in 1999 from Texas and he, his wife and their two daughters have made it their home. He enjoys spending time with his family, snowboarding, yoga, reading and listening to music.
Dr. McAdam's expertise is in: ACL and other knee ligament reconstruction, meniscus surgery, microfracture surgery, cartilage and meniscus transplants of the knee, arthroscopic shoulder labrum and rotator cuff repair, proximal hamstring repairs, elbow and ankle arthroscopy, biceps tendon repairs, fracture surgery of the ankle, knee, shoulder and elbow, Achilles tendon repairs and shoulder replacements.
