Suzanne Wahl, PA-C, MMS

Suzanne began her sports medicine career in 2000 while working as an Athletic Trainer with collegiate athletes at the University of Colorado and University of Washington.  From 2005 to 2012 she was a Physician Assistant at the University of Washington's Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, where she created and managed the Arthroscopy, Research and Training Lab, acted as the chief orthopedic PA-C and participated in resident and medical student education.  From 2012 to 2015, while at UC San Diego, she was instrumental in the development and design of a new sports medicine clinic, and she organized and coordinated the care between the former San Diego Chargers and UC San Diego Medical Center.

 

She has a complimentary breadth of knowledge in medical care, pre- and post-operative care, sports medicine, rehabilitation and patient education. Suzanne works collaboratively with Dr. Wahl in the clinic and operating room.  Their synergistic approach, as husband and wife and as MD and PA-C, refines the patient experience; allowing for superior care that is dependable, comprehensive, safe and efficient.
